This page explains exactly what cookies and similar technologies we use, what they do, and how you control them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal data more broadly.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They let the site remember things — like whether you’ve already accepted a banner, or which page referred you here — and let us understand how visitors are using the site so we can improve it.

Similar technologies we use include browser localStorage, sessionStorage, tracking pixels (small images that report a page view), and web beacons. The same rules and controls apply — when we say “cookies” on this page we mean all of these collectively.

How we categorise cookies

Our cookie banner asks for your consent before any non-essential tracking loads. Cookies are grouped into three categories:

  • Essential — needed for the site to work. No consent required (these are exempt under UK PECR).
  • Analytics — help us understand how the site performs. Only loaded if you accept.
  • Marketing — measure ad performance and let us show relevant content to similar audiences. Only loaded if you accept.

You can update your choice at any time by clicking Cookie preferences in the footer, or re-rejecting at the bottom of any page where the banner reappears.

Essential cookies

These run regardless of consent because the site genuinely needs them. They never carry advertising or analytics data.

Analytics cookies

These help us see what’s working on the site — which pages people read, where they drop off, which links they click — so we can improve it. They only run after you accept the Analytics category in our banner.

These let us measure paid campaigns and reach similar audiences. They only run after you accept the Marketing category.

Third-party services

The analytics and marketing tools above are provided by third parties — Google, Meta, LinkedIn — who set their own cookies and have their own privacy policies. We have data-protection agreements in place with each, and they only fire after you consent. Their privacy practices are available at:

We may embed content from other third parties (YouTube videos, Calendly booking widgets, etc.) on individual pages. Those services may also set cookies when their content loads. We keep this list current to the best of our ability — if you spot something missing, tell us at info@molo.agency.

Managing your preferences

The simplest way to change your consent is via our banner — click Cookie preferences in the footer of any page. That opens the banner again with your current choice pre-selected, so you can toggle categories on or off and save.

If you reject Analytics or Marketing cookies, no scripts in those categories load. Cookies already set by those scripts (from a previous accepted state) remain on your device until they expire — you can clear them from your browser settings.

Browser-level controls

All modern browsers let you block, delete, or be notified about cookies. The exact steps differ by browser, but you’ll find the option under Settings → Privacy / Security → Cookies (or similar). You can also use private / incognito browsing, which automatically clears cookies when you close the window.

Most browsers also let you signal Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Where we’re aware of a GPC signal we respect it as a reject-all preference.

Blocking essential cookies will likely break parts of the site. Blocking analytics and marketing cookies has no effect on usability — it just means we can’t measure your visit.

Changes to this policy

When we add or change a tracking technology — for example, wiring up a new ad platform or switching CRM — we update this page and bump the consent version. That triggers our cookie banner to reappear, so you get a fresh choice before any new tools load.
